To make use of the course wiki:

1. Creating a pbWiki identity.

• Go to https://my.pbwiki.com/new.php.
• Enter your email address and password. You may use any email address you like as long as it is valid.
• When you receive the confirmation email, click the link to set up your pbWiki account. 
• The link will take you to your Profile page. Enter your English name (this will help us all remember who's who in class) Click “Save.”
• You will be taken to the “Wikis you participate in” page. Enter BizPIE in the “wiki name” box and the wiki password (given in the first class or email me: jacob.erlich@gmail.com) in the “wiki password” box and click “Join wiki.”
  • Congratulations, you're now part of the wiki group.

2. Editing a page to add your ideas.

• Click Edit page button
  • If you are not already signed in, it will ask you to do so.
• Start typing
• Click the Save button

3. Adding a picture.

• Go to the page you want to upload the photo
• Click the Edit page button
• Click the Insert Image button (middle of the tool bar)
• Browse for the image on your computer
• Click the Upload button
• Below select the image that you want to add then click "Ok" button
• To resize the picture:
  • Click, hold and drag the image

3. Customizing your page.

• Adding a picture
• Hyperlinks
• Embedding information
•  

5. Creating your group space.

• Once your group has chosen a name, one person from that group should create a page for it. Go through the same "new page" process as above, but choose the "Group Project" template when you create it. This will give you a more complex page to work with as a starting point. Of course, you should use your group's name as the name of the page.
• View an example at Sample Group Project -- notice I have added a link to the CAS section and a picture here. Again, please use the a href tag instead of the "add images" function so that we do not run out of space.
• You do not have to stick with this template -- the extras are for your benefit. Look at the code in the "edit page" view to see how the boxes, images, etc. are done.
• If members of your group used screen names instead of real names to register, please put a list somewhere on this page so that I know who is who.
• This space is for your group to use, so personalize it any way you wish.
